Lightroom Presets and Lightroom Premium Presets: How to Use Them

Lightroom presets can be downloaded in several ways, but I’ll show you the quickest and easiest one. The first and most straightforward approach is to access the simple presets via Google Drive.

Downloading from the article page is another option, but I recommend downloading from the link below due to the superior quality of the Lightroom presets.

How to apply

Lightroom presets are inaccessible without the Lightroom Mobile app, so be sure to get that before you try to use any of the presets. Once you have the app, you can transfer the presets from your phone’s storage into Lightroom Mobile.

Then you can select the desired default settings with ease. Additionally, the YouTube channel has information on how to use Lightroom presets.

Now let me tell you about photography, which you can apply to increase your photography skills; here are seven pro tips

1. How to Put Together Great Pictures

  • Great photos start with good composition: how you frame the shot and where you put things in the picture. If you learn to put your photos together correctly, you’ll be well on your way to taking great photos.
  • Photography is an art, so sometimes you see and take a picture based on how it makes you feel. Most of the time, your photos will be better if you choose a subject and use the Rule of Thirds. The rule of Thirds is when you put your topic or sky outside the middle of the frame instead of in the middle.
  • Consider how to “frame” a picture to draw attention to your subject. That doesn’t mean you should use your favorite photo-editing app to add a graphic frame around your image. Find something in the scene that you can use to frame your subject or main focus. Use anything and everything you have to put your subject within certain limits. You can do a lot of different things with this.
  • You could use something in the center, for instance. It could be a door, a window, a fence, or even a part of any of those things. It could be something from nature, like the branches and leaves of a tree. You can even frame a picture by having your subject use their hands, arms, or legs if they are flexible enough.

Creative framing gives a unique perspective. It also helps the viewer focus on what you want them to focus on, which is your theme. It might take a while to get the hang of it, but soon you’ll be able to see framing chances almost everywhere you look.

2. Keep it easy

You don’t have to have a lot going on in your picture for it to be good. If your image has a lot of space, it will make the subject stand out even more. Take Better Photos Allow for extra breathing room around your main point, and you will draw more attention to it.

3. Change the way you see things

  1. You may have to get into an awkward pose to get a great photo. Just do it. The most obvious way to take a picture is to stand up and put the camera at eye level before you. Sometimes that’s all you need, but don’t be afraid to try something different.
  2. Change your point of view if you want to take your photos from ordinary to extraordinary. When you take a picture, choose a different point of view. Try taking a shot from down low and focusing on the foreground to make the background blurry. You can also do the opposite.
  3. You could also look directly up at your subject. You can also get up high and look down at your topic or shoot through something like a fence or a fake like a crystal ball. How about taking a close-up picture? Now, that’s a view that not many people get to see: the features of your subject up close.

These choices will give you a unique, engaging, and memorable view.

4. Give your pictures more depth

Give your pictures a three-dimensional look to give them a sense of depth. You can draw the viewer into your picture using layers (including the foreground) and leading lines.

As we discussed with perspective, putting something in the center of a picture gives it depth and draws the viewer into it. The backdrop can either draw attention to the main subject or be the subject itself. Don’t forget that your subject doesn’t always have to be the main point.

The use of leading lines is another way to add depth. We can find them everywhere. They could be simple lines or not. The designs in your picture make people look at your subject. Look for natural main lines in a row of trees, a river, a bridge, a fence, a road, or anything else.

5. Try to find reflections.

Reflections are a great way to show how your subject can be seen from a different point of view. Reflections can change your photo into a stunning work of art. You need to train your eye to look for them.

Reflections can be found anywhere — in a puddle on a city street, a clean lake, a pair of mirrored sunglasses, or in the window of a building. Reflections are powerful and often exciting ways to look at everyday things.

On a quiet weather day, a body of water like a lake, river, or pond provides a smooth, almost glassy appearance for a potentially stunning picture. On the other hand, a windy day can give a more dramatic look, with choppy waves and swirls making any visible image look distorted, almost abstract.

With windows and glass, anything can happen, and usually, it does, and this is especially true of windows in a building on a busy city street. There may be so much going on with moving cars and people that you don’t even notice all the action until you’re editing.

Glass can also be used as a mirror or prop, which gives you a lot of different ways to shoot and edit your photos.

6. Make a silhouette with the help of the sun.

Most of the time, it’s not a good idea to take photos while facing the sun, but there’s an easy way to get great silhouettes when you do this. In a profile, your subject is shown as a dark or black shape on a brighter background.

The shadowy figure of the subject is captured with little or no detail, and the sharp edge around the issue is generally the most exciting part.

Please choose what you want to photograph, then move so that the sun or something else in the picture is right behind it. Depending on your photograph, you can let some of the sun show. This makes a light ray that shines into the picture frame.

Move around to see if you like an outline or a partial silhouette with the sun in or out of the frame. Another way to block the sun, especially if your subject is far away, is to put something in the center.

In this picture of a cityscape, the golden hour is in full swing, and the sun is low in the sky. I got a silhouette of the city backdrop by using leaves from a nearby tree to block most of the sun.

7. Find Symmetry

The definition of Symmetry is “the quality of having the same parts facing each other or arranged around an axis.” When you see Symmetry, it often stops you in your tracks.

Think of it like this: what’s on the left is the same as what’s on the right. Or what’s on the top is the same as what’s on the bottom.

To get a tremendously balanced photo, frame the shot so that the vertical lines stay vertical and the horizontal lines stay horizontal. Look for balance in both artificial and natural things. Try to get as close to a perfect shot as possible when taking it, but be ready to make changes and add finishing touches when editing.

FINAL WORD

There are many ways to improve your shooting skills and take better pictures. It starts with the basics, but there are some simple techniques you can use that will help you take much better pictures.

Use the Rule of Thirds to start, of course. Then try framing some of your pictures to make your subject stand out.

Don’t try to overcomplicate your photos – keep things simple to highlight your subject. Use different perspectives and vantage points to make your pictures more interesting and unique.

Also, consider adding depth to your scene by putting things in the center and using lines that lead the eye into your vision.

Use the sun to your advantage by pointing your camera directly at it to make shadows of people and places. Lastly, look for reflections in water and windows and exciting Symmetry in nature and buildings.
